Farley's Castle

Today marks the sixth birthday of Farley’s Castle. The company started in 2013 with one goal in mind; to provide information across a vast range of readers. We still strive to achieve this goal. Although we have had minor setbacks this year, mainly just a lack of posts, we still work diligently to keep our readers entertained. So please join me in saying Happy Birthday Farley’s Castle and we wish you many more to come!

Amazon allows any individual to purchase just about anything without leaving the comfort of their home. In recent years the items on their website has grown. This item, however, has now led me to believe that Amazon literally has everything. What do my readers think? Also please note the 5/5 stars reviews the seven people.

There are numerous things I would like to do with a time machine, however, I do not want to alter the course of the universe. With that being said I have decided to go back into time around 40,000 years ago. There I will find a cave and draw cave drawings. These drawings will range from random circles to squiggly lines. Think of all the scholars, scientists, doctors and other esteemed professionals that will spend countless years of their lives studying these paintings. In the end, I will be laughing because they are literally nonsense. Maybe I will also toss a Farley’s Castle logo on a wall and see how that one goes!

Happy Memorial Day to my fellow Americans. For those that do not know why we have Monday off here is the definition as to why, “Memorial Day or Decoration Day is a federal holiday in the United States for remembering the people who died while serving in the country’s armed forces.” We will forever thank our men and women for their acts of valor. One of our greatest presidents, Ronald Regan, delivered a powerful speech that commemorates this day. I share it every year so here you go. God bless The United States of America.

I have seen kids around doing this “Bird Box” challenge. It is based after the Netflix show, Bird Box. The challenge consists of walking around blind folded or with their eyes closed for a set amount of time. I wish these kids would’ve picked a better challenge such as the “Quiet Place” challenge. That way they would sit quietly and not talk about pointless-stupid things like this. Plus it gives these millennials a reason not to speak on television!

The bunny is here! That means spring has arrived.

Wheel of Fortune this week has all college contestants for their College Week. I think it would be funny if they put three contestants on it; one from Harvard and two from community colleges. But I want the community college contestants to team up on the Harvard person. Yes I know I am old but I enjoy the show!

I think it is time for people with those old political bumper stickers, or as I call them PBS, to admit defeat and take them off. I know they are stickers and they are difficult to remove, but it can be done. It is like wearing a shirt or hat of a team that lost the Stanley Cup or Super Bowl. I mean they send that stuff to foreign countries for a reason! It also reminds me of people that keep their kids second and third place trophies 20 years after they lost!

My less than 1 year old nephew is learning how to crawl. When he sits down he usually tries to grab his toes and put them in his mouth. It is the most interesting thing ever. I thought what if people had that ability with their legs. Almost like monkeys. If I had that power I would learn how to drink millers with my feet. I think it would be really interesting if I could sit at a bar and grab a miller and drink it with using only my feet. In order to achieve this goal I have decided to start doing yoga. I figured within a year or two I can be drinking with my feet in no time. If anyone knows a good yoga studio let me know!

Chuck asked me to go to the store to pickup salt because of an ice storm that’s going to hit Niles tonight. So I asked him if he wanted a bag of pepper to go with it. His response was “Yep a 50 pound bag. They have that in the back. Ask the clerk.” Well I stopped at the gas station after work to grab the salt and pepper. As I was paying for the salt I asked the gas station attendant if he had any pepper to go with it. His response was, “Naw man sorry I don’t think we carry that.” Well clearly he didn’t understand the joke. What is wrong with kids these days no sense of humor!
