Farley's Castle

Chuck and I were talking the other day and he brought up the story of when I was born. Now the story started when I said to Momo, “You have perfect children. It is like we were created in a lab.” Well Chuck thought otherwise because his response was, “No she just sh*t on a rock and the sun hatched you.” Well I guess as you get older that whole stork story really goes out the window.

The Christmas lights are up on the house and they’re looking nice! However, now that they are up I have decided to leave them up year round. The reason behind this is not because I am lazy, which I am, but because I want the google maps car to drive around in July and take a lovely picture of the house. Also I know what people are thinking… you can’t see the lights during the day. This is true. So I have decided to leave the inflatable Santa and snowman up as well.

I would like to thank all the men and women in our armed services for their heroic service. Thank you too our veterans who have defended our country and thank you for those who are currently serving as we speak. God bless the Land of the Free because of the Brave!

This election was the most annoying one of all. Every form of social media was packed with things such as, “registered to vote?” Or “remember to vote.” I don’t need social media of all things to tell me what to do. What’s even worse is when you do vote you get a sticker and everyone on social media has to post a picture with this sticker. I saw Snapchat’s, Facebook pictures, instagrams, etc… with these stickers and people bragging. It’s your civic duty to vote. I don’t brag about paying my taxes or going for jury duty. Where’s my sticker for these civic duties? Everyone wants a participation trophy theses days and it’s absurd. Thanks to the 47% of eligible voters for doing your civic duty. Hope everyone enjoys their participation trophy.
